Visitors of “Vinyl Jam 2017” were treated to a live concert of Yuri Liamkin.

Some might have met Yuri Liamkin at the presentation of his “Reason Softly Speaks or Just Make It Louder” vinyl rock album at Nota Plus. This album was recorded, mixed and produced by Andrei Sinyaev and Timur Dolotkazin at MMS Records studio. Others might have met Yuri at the first “Vinyl Jam” unplugged jam session that took place in 2015.

“Liamkins” project leader – composer, singer, guitar player Yuri Liamkin is well known for his participation in “The Planes” and “Updiverss”, his work in “Staryi Priyatel” and his duets with “Staryi Priyatel”’s guitarist Andrei Shurikov. According to “Vinyl Jam” organizers «Reason Softly Speaks or Just Make It Louder» album turned out to be a rock album of monumental proportions developing 70-s anglophile spirit started by the likes of Paul McCartney and Traffic and to some extent young ZZ Top. According to Yuri, song is the most important thing. If the song is lacking, one cannot hide it by style or technology. The weaker the song, the more embellishment it needs.
